Hi all,

I'm running the AEON SHEDNOX HELIX skin on OpenELEC 5.0, and am trying to get random movie fanart rotating on the main menu screen when the "Movies" menu is highlighted.

So far I haven't been able to get it to work. I've turned on the "random movies" option under Skin > Settings > Customizers > Main Menu Customizer > Movies > Choose background. Even after turning this option on, the default skin backgrounds are still displayed.

I have a remote MySQL database for my library which was preexisting, so when I connected it to this new Kodi instance I noticed fanart was downloading as I was scrolling through the movie collection. But even though there is definitely movie fanart, it isn't showing up on the main menu screen.

Just wondering if I have missed something to get this working correctly?

Found the solution, needed to install the skin widgets service.

Not sure if this would be installed as a prerequisite normally?

I couldn't install the skin via the normal addons methods as Kodi reported that it failed to meet dependancies, so I had to install it manually.
