I am preparing my media files for KODI. I have seen numerous utilities for the renaming of media files to be compatible with KODI and IMDB Movie Scraper. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tool that can scan a drive and isolate those files that are properly formatted and those that are not properly formatted?
I realize, I can just go into KODI and see what has been scraped properly, but a Utility that can do this outside of KODI would be helpful.
i.e. Using the naming conventions for TV Shows found at: http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/TV_shows
Or for Movies at http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Movies
Or for Music at http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/Music_videos
I did some programming early on, but beyond my current abilities.
Has anyone thought of building a utility such as this or Know of one in existence, they'd like to share?
Thank you in advance.
Rich
