Video Always Starting Paused, Starts by Itself
#1
I am running kodibuntu helix 14. It's running on an intel i3 4150 with Intel HD 4400 Graphics HDMI out, with the newest drivers installed. Any time I start a video, it begins paused. I can immediately press play, and the video starts correctly. Also when I select a video and it starts paused, about 5-7 seconds later playback will begin on it's own without touching anything. If a video is already playing, and I try to back out into the menu, it also pauses again, but will resume even with the menus in front of it, by hitting play. I was using Openelec Helix on the same machine before this, and this didn't happen. I have enclosed a copy of my debug log, Line 777 is where playback of the first video begins. I am then backing out in to the menus and pressing play again.

I get the error: CDVDMessageQueue(player):Tongueut MSGQ_NOT_INITIALIZED on line 803

Same happening to me too. Was happening with older verssion of XBMC, thought updtating to Kodi would fix it, but it didnt. Updated to kodi 14.1 still not fixed for me. I am not sure what made this start happening, but it didnt do it when I first set up XBMC

I figured it out today. The version of the graphics drivers on Intel's website were the culprit. When I use what comes with kodibuntu Helix, everything is fine. Thanks for offer to help though. Now if someone would only respond to this http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=216633 I'd have the perfect kodi htpc. Smile It's pretty darn close though now!
