Is it possible to have KODIbuntu on an android streaming player, like a Nexus player? The wiki page said it is replaceable for the currently running PC os, but didnt mention something about android players. If not possible, wouldn't it be cool to have tho OS running for a streaming player?

Nope.
Why? Just install Kodi on android.

Not KodiBuntu itself. On some ARM chips it is possible to install a linux-based OS that is Kodi-centric, for a set up that is similar to KodiBuntu. It's been a long time since looked, and I didn't look very hard the last time, but I try to add links to such OSes to the
hardware (wiki) wiki pages when they apply.
It's also possible to start up Kodi right away when you use Android, so you more or less don't deal with the actual Android interface.
