Amber Skin for Raspbmc
#1
I've seen the Amber skin recommended on a few sites a s a good alternative to Confluence in terms of low memory usage and fluid menus and thumbnails but can't instal it on Raspbmc.

It doesn't come up in a search and when I install it from a zip I'm told it's incompatible and doesn't meet the requirements necessary.

Any ideas?

I use Amber since about 10 months. My Operating System is RaspBMC.
I have migrated from XBMC 12 to 13.2 and Amber was installed in 12. Works fine in 13.2.
I have set my Pi to NOT auto-update anymore since I got so many issues earlier when it updated itself without asking.
I like the vertical menu much more than the horizontal Confluence one since it is easier to get an overview then.
But as I said I have not updated to KODI and by what you say maybe Amber will not work there...
Yet another reason not to auto-update...

Are you using a Helix version? This should work:
