Hi There,

I have a old version of XBMCBuntu built from the image you can download. I'm about to build a new box with the latest download image. I like how the build has the XBMC splash screen when booting up. If I download the latest available image and upgrade it to Kodi will the boot splash screen change from XBMC to Kodi?

No. It normally will change to the following (if nothing has changed yet):

It will show up the gotham splash screen even if you are on Kodi
