Bug Slow menus after EPG load
#1
Hello,

since a few day's have I a big problem with my raspi.
All menus are fluidly, but load/after the epg data, all menus are very slow.
If I press a button, I wait about 1-2 second to reaktion.
When I deactivate PVR WMC CLIENT, then is all fine and fluidly.

I have reset pvr and epg-databank, restart the serverwmc but nothing helps. Sad

Code:
2015/01/24 17:47:53.026 ServerWMC started.
2015/01/24 17:47:53.031 [b]Assembly version: 1.0.0.54, build: 1179[/b]
2015/01/24 17:47:53.031 Config file version: 104
2015/01/24 17:47:53.031 Build: Release

What can I see is a lot of request from client (195.210.60.26) to server.

Within my other two android-clients is all fine.

21.01.2015 all was fine

22.01.2015 all was fine, until I had a reboot about 22:00 o'clock.

Hi Heiko,

I see what you are talking about. Your client called 'OpenELEC' keeps asking for the timers from serverwmc over and over (see GetTimers) without stopping. I have never seen this behavior before. All I can think is that there is something about the timers that serverwmc is sending that this client doesn't like, so it keeps requesting them. I would think that resetting the database on this client would fix the problem, but you tried that already so that must not be it.

Maybe the kodi log on this client will tell us why this is happening. You might need to turn on debug in kodi if you don't see the problem in the log.

It is strange that your android clients don't have this problem.

Did you enter a new timer right before this problem started? If so maybe try deleting it.

Hello Krusty,

the last time I don't set a timer about kodi.

Here the kodi.log.

I hope you can find my problem.

Edit: I tested it with DVBLINK PVR Client, it's the same result. Sad

Edit2: I deleted all files and folder under userdata, but it's the same result.
My last opinion is that it on the serverwmc.

It's very crazy.

1. I deinstalled the serverwmc 1179 and installed 1181 new
Result: the same error

2. I restored a very old backup (10.2014 it was Kodi-beta) on my sd-card and usb-stick
Result: happy, all of it works fine

BUT:
3. I installed the last nightly-openelec-devil build
Result: the error is back

I'm at one's wits' end.

EDIT: I did installed a few difference nightly version, so that I isolate the problem part.
19973 within 3.108 word fine, without error

19990 within 3.111 had the error

wmc-Log: http://pastebin.com/2i82LxHC

(here can you find the install all version in log: http://pastebin.com/z8VWn5Wr )

I dont know is it a serverwmc or a openelec problem.
But I think, it is a openelec problem, because its the same problem within dvblink-add-on.

Good. Based on your results, isn't it obvious it's an openelec nightly problem? That makes sense because swmc has no control over the kodi GetTImers command, all it can do is respond to it.

Have you reported it to the openelec developers?

Why do you need the nightly?
