What is the purpose of the recording icon? Covers and episode art look awful at icon size so what is the typical source for this?

It will fallback to the channel icon if no other type of art is populated by the addon.

Thanks but no I think you are confusing that with the broken EPG art that defaults to channel icon. In investigating your response, I guess my question is more a skin question, since the skin uses the same ListItem.Icon for the useless image on the left and the one on the right
