I have a question regarding shared libraries using UPnP. I was wondering if this feature only works with actual video/audio files (mp4, mp3, etc.) rather than say videos which are streamed (have a .strm file extension)?. So if I have a library which solely consists of .strm would a secondary installation connected to that library be able to play them?
I ask because I have setup a shared library and I can't get the secondary Kodi installation to play the .strm files it is just an error message. I wondered if there was a setting I have missed somewhere?
