Hello everyone, first time poster here but a long time follower of xbmc/kodi. I hope someone can help me out with a strange bug:
When the JoyToKey (v5.6) software is running, XBMC (13.2) or Kodi (14.0 stable) won't start. Both start only after quitting J2K.
I don't know if the problem is kodi's or j2k's fault (or just on my system, i don't have a 2nd machine for testing) so i don't report this as a bug, but more like asking for help
I use J2K to control MPC-HC as an external player. Kodi is set to start videos using an external player through the playercorefactory.xml.
Joy2Key re-maps the controller's keys so that it works for MPC-HC. That's why J2K is essential to run.
I can start j2k after Kodi is already launched. But not the other way around. Kodi won't start when j2k runs.
The control works fine even with j2k so that's not the problem, it's just for remapping special buttons and everything in that regard works fine.
It's only that Kodi doesn't start with j2k in system is what's annoying.
