Testing as described here while running a high power demand task such as library scraping, is recommended. We've seen replacement of poor PSU's remedy issues just like yours more times than there are letters in my post here... Wink

Thanks for the reply, any power supplies you recommend?

You DON'T have to buy an expensive card... At least you shouldn't until you can rule out the power supply as being your issue! I'm not sure you've clearly read/understood all the info provided to you in this thread... That expensive sd card probably won't give you any better performance than the Noobs card that popcornmix suggested.

Also, re: power supplies... Are you overclocking this system at all? More overclock = more power demand. Turning off overclock (if used) could be a good way to see if the problems resolve or diminish which would further indicate the PSU as your issue...

Really, im just tired of issues with the pi. So I'm looking at buying both an sd card and a power supply. If the micro sd costs me 12 dollars (cheapest I can find that has good reviews) and the power supply is 20, itd cost me 32 dollars which is almost the price of the pi. I'm just currently trying to find the cheapest reliable sd/psu i can find.

System is overclocked but I've had it with no overclock at all and it crashes as well... the crashes are rare btw but they still occur and i hate when they do. Such a hassle to get up and unplug the cable from the back...

It might be expensive but it's really worth it. Very high quality circuits and made in the UK.
