Default 4:3 Nonlinear Stretch

It would be great if an option to nonlinear stretch all 4:3 videos, rather than having to adjust each video individually, could be added.

that's already there, it's called 'wide zoom'. you find it in settings -> video -> playback -> display 4:3 videos as.

No wide zoom is not the same thing as it zooms in and loses part of the image. Nonlinear stretch does not zoom at all so no part of the image is lost.

ah you are right. i remember now, i was fighting jonathan on this one but i lost Wink

it shouldn't be all that hard to add though. https://github.com/notspiff/kodi-cmake/c...35da389820 outlines it (should be operational, just not sure if it breaks something else due to enum change).

Should I just copy the files over to my system to test?

I think you need to adjust line 622 in xbmc/cores/VideoRenderers/BaseRenderer.cpp: https://github.com/notspiff/kodi-cmake/b...r.cpp#L622

What are the chances of this actually getting rolled into Kodi?

Any word on whether this will be added to Kodi 15?
