I bought a raspberry pi (B+) recently and installed KODI/raspbmc on it. I'm trying to use it with a USB DAC that has an external power switch. If I turn the DAC off while the raspberry pi is running and then turn the DAC on again, I lose audio permanently until I reboot the raspberry pi. Is there an easy fix to this problem? Sorry if I did not provide enough information to help debug the problem. I tried following the directions (link below) to make my USB DAC the default ALSA output device but this did not help. Thanks very much for your help.
