Using bluetooth headphones with Kodi
#1
I just started using my Sennheiser MM 550-x with my Mac OS X. Since the Mac has crappy bluetooth, I am using Sennheiser BTD 500 to connect the speakers to the mac wirelessly.
The headphones work great, no lag, no delay, great audio quality, even with Kodi.

However, Kodi seems to have an issue that other apps (iTunes, Movist, Quicktime) do not face. When I pause the movie, I can hear a clear "hiss" noise, which is not notice during playback.

An interesting indicator is, when there's a slight audio delay, there's no hiss. When there's no delay, there's a hiss.

I though may be it had something to do with Kodi's audio settings, so anyone knows a fix for that?

Could you try to disable the "Keep audio device alive" option in Settings->System->Audio output?
