I have installed the most recent version of the OpenELEC OS (5.0.0), and now I have lost all sound, both in menu and in all video files.
I have a Xonar DG sound card for the 5.1, and it was working perfectly fine before the OS reinstall when I was running OpenELEC with XBMC Frodo 12.0 (I'm not sure which OpenELEC version). No cables have been changed/moved/removed.
Tell me if I have missed anything else, I got the aplay/dmesg commands from here and followed the instructions as close as I could (changing card numbers etc.) to no avail. I have also tried every possible combination of options in the audio output menu.
Any help will be much appreciated, I think my lady-friend may murder me if it isn't fixed.
