No recovery mode

I got a raspberry pi b+ for Christmas and it had a micro sd card that had the kind of software that allows you to enter 'recovery mode' and install\uninstall multiple os's. I installed raspbian(wheezy) and Raspbmc. I started using Raspbmc but I did something(still not completely sure what) that caused it to randomly restart all the time and made AirPlay not work at all. So I did the Factory reset. Now, when I boot the raspberry pi, It runs straight to a command line, skipping the opportunity for recovery mode, and starts running a bunch of code. Then it starts saying 'wait 8 seconds for a network interface to come up', it says that about 15 times, then switches to a box that says 'sorry could not connect to the update server. please verify that you have a wired network connection or a properly configured wireless connection and disable any proxy servers on your network. After you have done this, unplug your raspberry pi for 60 seconds before trying again.' If you know how to fix this, please help. Thank you.

I think you should be posting this on the Raspberry Pi forum, as it's not really a Kodi issue, and you'll find a lot fewer people here running NOOBS (which I think is the recovery software you mention) than you will there: http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/

Or post on the Raspbmc forum if it's a problem with that OS: http://forum.osmc.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=7

I would probably just re-install Raspbmc.

Like I said, I can't. It doesn't let me go into recovery mode.

Seek support from NOOBS. I have no idea how their system works in this respect.

ActionA means install from fresh to the SD card, pretty simple, plenty of guides out there, if you want the NOOBS set-up back, then follow this guide:
