How to get Kodi from PC to TV via apple tv or wdtv - possible?
#1
Hi all,

I've just installed Kodi on my PC running windows. The PC is in a different room to my television and I wondered if it is possible to stream through to the TV.

I've got an apple TV (3rd gen) connected to the TV and also a WDTV Live box.

All devices, including the TV (and PC) are on the same hard wired network.

Is there a way to get Kodi content on to the main TV?

A big thank you for all your help with this.

Cheers

John :-)

Air Parrot. There is a license fee though

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Thanks for the tip. I've installed the trial of airparrot and got it working.

However it is just streaming to the apple tv and basically using the apple tv as a screen extender.

This is a great step in the right direction but I wondered if there was a way to also pause media and control media remotely.

Airparrot doesn't seem to be the solution for this.

Thanks for your help on this bry. :-)
