hi,
Clean kodi 14.1 install, windows 64 bit. when I choose to shutdown the app, it does not sutdown, and it hangs until I get a popup from windows that it does not response.
Any idea ?

Your debug log will indicate what it's hanging up on... (likely culprits, weather, add-ons or some network foo) use notpad to have a look. The wiki's will tell you were the debug-log is located (yes you have to turn it on).
