I am trying to discover a way to take individual add-ons and create home menu items to directly launch the application. This would be a similar thought process to adding a desktop shortcut or taskbar shortcut on a windows operating system. For instance, I use the Rdio app very frequently, but it drives me crazy to cycle through all the menus in order to reach the rdio add on in the list of installed add-ons.
The ideal solution would be to have rdio show up in the home menu much like Tv Shows, Movies, Settings, Etc buttons currently show. I am able to edit the text, remove and add within the menu via the settings --> skin --> settings --> menu. However, I cannot find a way to launch add-ons directly through these menu options.
Can anyone help me out on how to edit this menus to launch a specific add-on?
Thank you!
