If you jailbroken with Seasonpass and ATVflash, run ATVflash again to fix this error.

Or SSH Command Line on Apple.

Step 1: Locate 'Terminal' Application in /Applications/Utilities folder.

Step 2: Enter the following to connect via SSH.

ssh root@<appletv IP address>

Enter 'alpine' as password when prompted.

Step 3: Connected!

When connected you will see the following prompt.

Apple-TV:~ root#

Then enter " dpkg --configure -a "

as per Memphiz

I'm getting the same problem with my ATV2.

Running the install command "apt-get install org.xbmc.kodi-atv2", I get this on screen:

Err http://mirrors.kodi.tv ./ org.xbmc.kodi-atv2 14.1-0
Host Unreachable
Failed to fetch http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/atv2/./deb/or...os-arm.deb Host Unreachable
E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

I've tried the commands suggested on-screen and here, but nothing works. This error has been on-going for a month. Even running the KODI install script from within Nito gives me the same error. When I installed Kodi on a laptop recently, , primary mirrors were not available. I had to manually find an installer from another mirror. Any thoughts on how to fix the ATV2 problem?

...further, clicking on the http://morrors.kodi.apt/atv2 etc link results in a "server not found" error.

That's because the address is http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/atv2/

My bad on typing my message. That is the correct address, that also fails with the "server not found" error. The link that fails in the install script is http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/atv2/./deb/or...os-arm.deb

Is there a manual command that I can use to go to a different host that has the file? The default "apt-get install org.xbmc.kodi-atv2" looks for the host that's offline.

Can you paste this URL into your web browser and tell me what address it turns into?

I get

"Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at mirror.pw."

...I'm in Canada. On a hunch, I turned on my VPN for a USA tunnel. Now I see the image! Going to try the install to the ATV2 now.

...and no love for the ATV2. apt-get install org.xbmc.kodi-atv2 still results in an error. Damn.

Strange. The mirror.pw server seems to be functional for me. However, someone else was having problems with that same server today. Hmm..

clicking on http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/atv2/./deb/or...os-arm.deb (with the VPN) now asks me to download to my PC! The ATV2 install doesn't work ...and of course it doesn't! No VPN on the ATV2! Ok, I think I'm making some headway here.

I run a Sophos UTM server as my router and firewall. I'm not sure if I can config the server to use the VPN service that I use, though I will investigate.

Is there any way to install the downloaded ATV2 installer on my PC to the ATV2?

Why am I being geoblocked is another question.

Bell Canada is my Internet provider. I wonder if there's a blacklist issue happening on a block of their IP's? Or, could the server mirror have a geoblock on for non-USA IP's? The VPN with a USA address works, so something is going on to block me, and has been ongoing for at least 3+ weeks.
