Kodi install on Linux, I added VU + Enigma2 plugin. Generally plugin works, but on some channels streaming does not work. By logging in to the tuner by webif not operating channels only work on mplayer. A channel that worked on KODI, operate and mplayer and kaffeine. You suspect that the problem lies in the codecs. Can I set KODI to use mplayer codecs?

I don't think that this is possible for the PVR part.

Maybe you could try to create a recording, transfer it to your Kodi box and check whether the problem still exists when you try to play it locally (which it should)

If it does, then I guess you could create a bug-report in the main sections of Kodi - so that the player-developers can check why these streams are not working.
