Having the weirdest thing! I've just set up a new pc with Windows 7 Ultimate, I've installed latest stable version of Kodi (and tried a nightly build) and installed a plugin I use (I have 2 other instances of Kodi running this plugin without any problems all on Windows 7).

The plugin in question installs fine and starts and looks for an update. With this install, it will enable the plugin but when it starts it automatically tries to update. That's when I get the error:

Not Updated - An error caused the update to fail

If you click ok you can still use the non-updated plugin

I thought it might be a permissions issue but I granted admin rights and made sure the account had admin rights but nothing worked

Anyone ever seen anything like this? Or have any ideas?
