Hi, I can record a show and view it later. I cannot pause, reverse or other action in live TV. Perhaps there is some setup I have missed. Thanks for your help.

In dvbviewer you have to enable timeshift and set a buffer path - it's in the advanced tab when you configure the addon.
I'd guess each front-end has something similar.

I am using nextpvr I have it enabled in advanced, but I do not see where to set the buffer.

Yep, just had a look and there's no setting. I'm only guessing (in the absence of other responses) but have you enabled timeshifting in the backend?
