Hi Kodi family,

I have the latest release of Kodi and I was wondering ... "When did the 'YouTube' addon (bromix, 5.0.5) lose its 'download video' function or if there's someone who may direct me to retrieving this feature of the YouTube addon."

I no longer have the tab for "Downloads"?! My apologies if I missed a notification of this deletion, but I've read all of changelogs and I guess I must have overlooked this notification (if exist, LOL). Please direct me to a link on help with this information. (Comments are indeed welcomed! Just thought people might be busy, is all.)

I have the same problem: I can't find the menu item for "Downloads" in the youtube plugin anymore.

I've also installed Youtube-dl-control but it doesn't work and the menu tab "Downloads" is still missing.

Kodi 14.1 and latest youtube addon.

Can anyone help to solve ?!?

EDIT: SOLVED.
Kodi 14.x uses Bromix youtube plugin and not the older one, which had the download video feature.
Bromix youtube addon simply do not carry with the Download feature (yet).
