Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting on the right forum or not. But I want to update my amazon fire stick to 14.1 I currently have 13.2. Someone installed kodi for me initially.Thank you in advance

You don't need to uninstall Gotham (13.2) until after you install Helix (14.1).
Just make sure you backup your userdata first, then follow the guide in the wiki: http://kodi.wiki/view/Amazon_Fire_TV (same process for the Stick).

You should definitely avoid uninstalling before upgrading. Just install the new version on top of the old one (but backing up is still highly recommended). Otherwise all your settings get deleted during the uninstall.
