There's always interest in new features, but there is hardware that handles some of this and using Kodi in windowed mode over a few monitor screens and I've had multiple videos up, but just one set of eyes. What is your vision in this question? Are you going to do the coding, or is this going to be a feature suggestion?

Live streaming in the smaller box for say, a baby monitor....or for a video chat to remotely watch a video with someone else? Or maybe to just video chat while also watching the TV?

I like the idea too. One of the videos/audios have to be decoded in software since GPUs can only hardware decode a single video. But this is no problem for music or small SD videos (like door camera/baby monitor/video chat)
I think elupus was working on something like that (maybe https://github.com/elupus/xbmc/tree/masterclock_master) but he was missing lately.
