we have never said that you should expect a final release. and i'm glad we don't share your point of view. there is always stuff we can add/improve, xbmc will never be complete

Wouldn't it be funny if Microsoft decided to scrap Vista and told everyone that they believed Windows XP was feature complete and 99% done so they just plan to add a final Service Pack.

Not really a fair comparison since PC hardware is evolving and Xbox hardware is not. I like new versions of XBMC just as much as the next guy, but let’s face it. There's only so much that can be done with a 733MHZ CPU and 64 MB of memory. They will have to draw the line somewhere.
