I've made a little script to start Kodi with the X button of the xbox controller, it should work fine on Linux (i've tested on archlinux).

what do you think about? do you fine useful? suggestions?

Will it continue to try and launch kodi if its already running? I don't see anything in there stopping it from trying to launch it twice. Might come into problems if kodi wanted to use the x button. Also is this the blue x button? because that would be problematic for most users. I would much rather it be mapped to the middle button.

Sorry i've explained myself in a wrong way.

The X button stand for the central button with xbox simbol if I rememeber correctly kodi shoudn't use it.

And yes I still didn't managed multiple executions
