I just finished updating my HTPC to use Windows 7 Pro and Kodi 14.1. I installed ServerWMC in order to use Windows Media Center for the all of the features it provides. I did get ServerWMC to work however I think I may have discovered a small bug. On the General tab there are various options set/unset by check boxes. I found the the status of the check boxes did not persist through a re-boot. I had to manually edit the Settings file. With manually editing the settings file I found the the settings persisted through a re-boot.

I don't know if this is a bug, but I also had trouble with the WMC pvr front end connecting to ServerWMC when ServerWMC was running as a service.

The gui does not work when running swmc as a service. We recommend not running it as a service until you work out the settings you want, then running as a service - but editing the config file directly works too obviously. I am not sure what your connection problem is due to, how did you resolve it?
