I think this is a feature requrest as I've not seen it mentioned before.
On some broadcasts there is a separate audio description track, for blind/visually impaired people, alongside the main soundtrack.
This audio description, when working as intended is overlayed on to the original audio. to provide narration during quiet sections. see http://www.bbc.co.uk/corporate2/insideth...ption.html
In the pvr interface on my setup(OE 5.1, tvheadend) i can see the audio description track on programmes where it's present, as the 2nd audio stream. But when you choose it it's played on it's own without the original soundtrack To be of any use it needs to be mixed with the primary audio track.
