Null Space for Channel
#1
I've got a few channels that aren't being pulled in to ServerWMC. Noticed this in the log:

2015/02/20 13:54:59.654 GetLineUpsAndChannels> started
2015/02/20 13:54:59.745 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Null space for channel: FNCHD
2015/02/20 13:54:59.748 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Null space for channel: DSCHD
2015/02/20 13:54:59.755 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Null space for channel: APLHD
2015/02/20 13:54:59.765 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Null space for channel: AETVHD
2015/02/20 13:54:59.768 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Total LineUps: 1, Total channels imported: 35
2015/02/20 13:54:59.768 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Channels found in database: 1536
2015/02/20 13:54:59.768 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Ignored Channels> Blocked in WMC: 1501, User hidden: 0
2015/02/20 13:54:59.768 GetLineUpsAndChannels> Strange Channels> Null space: 4, Out-of-range(ignored): 0

I can watch these channels in WMC w/o issue. Anything I can do to 'force' them through into ServerWMC?

For background info, the tuner is a HDHomeRun Prime.

Thanks.

Strange. You can turn off 'hide all drm channels' (see Channels tab), then restart kodi and the channels should transfer, but if you can't tune to them we'll need more info to get this sorted out.

That's interesting. They do show up now in Kodis EPG once I toggled off 'hide all drm channels', but as you noted, I can't tune to them - Get a message saying they are DRM protected. Are those channels really DRM protected? ( Discovery, A&E ) Any way to quickly verify?

A little more information - I navigated over to my hd home run prime. Under the Channel Lineup, the channels that are showing up as "Null space for channel" in ServerWMC are not tagged as DRM.

Are there others, like hbo that are tagged as drm? But yeah, I don't think they are drm'd either - its very strange to have a channel with a null space. My guess is that the COM is not reporting them correctly to swmc. I hate to say it, but have you tried just rebooting the server machine? Assuming you have, edit the settings file (see debug tab) and find the following field and change it to:

<Debug_ChannelDetail>true</Debug_ChannelDetail>

then save the file and restart swmc. After swmc starts, post its log file on pastebin.com and post a link to it here.

Yeah, I think it was a misconfig in my setup - I updated the HDHR Prime's firmware and then reran the tuner setup in WMC. Its working correctly now. Sorry for the false alarm..

Excellent work btw - thanks so much.
