Does anyone know if there is a size limit for external hard drives? For example could I connect a 4TB, 5TB or 6TB hard drive as a media source to a Pi2 and would it be recognized by Open Elec/Kodi?

Hey there.
I could be wrong, but afaik Openelec is just a custom Linux-based OS built to run Kodi as fast as possible, and the kernel is quite recent too (3.17 or something), so , it definitely should recognize all your devices, unless there's some bug/limitation on Kodi itself what I really doubt.

No size limit but just some power limits for example I have a 5TB with it's own power cord that works fine but a 80GB that has no option for external power doesn't work because the Pi can't give it enough power.
