Android Cant download KODI properly.

Hello, my XBMC app has stopped working on my Ugoos Android box. I looked up a few things, and found that if I download Kodi (xbmc) from the browser it would work. I followed all the steps, the installation is complete, but now what? I try to open the Kodi app, but it is just a black screen. (helix 14.1) I am SO confused, can anyone help me figure out what I am doing wrong or why Kodi (xbmc) wont open?
