I have received my RaspPI2 and installed Openelec 5.03
The system works fluid, even comparing with my desktop haswell I7., except for the PVR section.
I am using a mediaportal TV server for live tv, which serves different Kodi systems (Apple Mini on OSX, Windows PC,Android Tablets, Raspberry PI1).
Only on RaspPI2 I experience the following problems:
- slow loading of channel lists
- slow loading of EPG
- slow channel change
It literally takes almost a minute for the RaspPI2 to load the channel list and EPG and more than 10 seconds to change a channel.
The Raspberry PI1 loads the channels and epg much faster, and channel change happens in 1-2 seconds.
Also all the other systems (macs, windows pc's, android tablets) work fast, and without any problems.
Xbian with RaspPI2 shows the same problems with PVR.
Xbian with Raspberry PI1 work without problems also.
Has anyone experinced the same problems with RaspPI2, and found a solution ?
