I just built a HTPC with Kodibuntu 14.0, AMD 6400k and its integrated graphic only, it works well normally.
But it has no HDMI output if the HTPC boot before receiver is on. I google for this problem few days, but still can't figure out the solution.
Anyone can guide me to solve this problem?
Any helps would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Got similiar problem but with kodibuntu usb live, so i can't install when i don't see anything.
I see only splash with turning "kodi square" and then tv screen (on hdmi) switch off.
I've got well working xbmcbuntu 12 with frodo xvba but I want to instal new version. I have tried it with linuxmint 17, but the video doesn't play smooth.
Anywhere, is any way to do something, like link above with usb live?
I'm not too experienced with linux. Smaller problems I solved with google and copy/paste. I got this hw http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/E350M1/index.pl.asp

EDIT:
Mint with Kodi and vdpau play smooth after fritsch description (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=174854) but I lost spdif audio output. Tonight I will try solve it.
NEXT DAY:
SPDIF is now ok solved with http://kodi.wiki/view/PulseAudio.
