Hi All

First post so I hope i done this right. I can run 32bit openelec or kodibuntu on my ID80 but it refuses to run the 64bit versions. Just reboots.

Has anybody got the 64bit versions to run on an ID80?

Don't have the ID80, got an ID45 with an SSD HD. Runs OpenElec 64bit as a charme.

Couldn't find the ID80 on the manufactor's site, wanted to check the difference between both. Did find info on Amazon, and the ID80 chip looks like supporting 64bit. Did you try to install another 64bit, just to make sure it's an OpenElec problem and not a ZBox one?

Long time ago lol, memory a bit rusty. But I seem to recall that the problem was that I was trying to run 8Gb of ram on the ID80 and it did not like it. Removed 1 4Gb chip and it started working
