Linux Kodibuntu issue - No sound in desktop mode

Hi!
Got an issue with the sound in the desktop mode. The sound works in Kodi, but not when I juse the web-browser.

There is no sound at all in the desktop mode Sad

Please help Smile

AFAIK Kodibuntu doesnt use pulseaudio which is needed to get sound in the webbrowser. Please read this carefully to figure out the pros and cons for or against pulseaudio:

The only way I know of. But you can force ALSA for the use for Kodi even with pulseaudio installed. Look at point 6.4 in the wiki above

kodibuntu creates a default alsa device for use in desktop apps. This depends on you having configured audio inside kodi first.
check ~/.asoundrc

Note that it doesn't use dmix, so no simultaneous audio output from different applications.

Hmm.. The sound works well in Kodi, use hdmi pass with 5.1!

Can you explain it to me? What should i do? Thanks :-)
