Xperience1080 not available in repository
#1
Hi,

I am using Openelec 5.03 (Kodi 14.1) in a RPi2.

Xperience1080 is not visible in the Kodi offcial add-on repository (I have forced several times the update).

Can I do anything?

1080XF is the current version there, I generally make the announcement a day or so before it *should* be added to the repo. I have already submitted it so it's now out of my hands.

Can you point me to the right forum where I can ask for support regarding this?

Maybe in the "general" Skin Help and Support forum ( http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=67 ) ?

There is no support for it - there's a lag time with all submissions. You can continue to use 1080XF for the time being.

Edit: You can check here: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/helix/

As soon as it's available from there, it should be available to install shortly after. You just need to give it a little bit of time Smile

Team Kodi (I think it was ronnie) advised last time it can take up to 24 hours after submission for it to appear, so yes just a matter of patience Smile.

Thanks!

But in any case, can I install it manually from the link you posted here ( http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid1939267 ) right?
Altough installed manually it will be updated automatically from the repo when new versions are submited?

There were an issue I didn't spot so the skin is slightly delayed - I've now corrected that and bumped the version to 3.50.03. It should appear in the repository by Friday evening (2015-02-27).

I usually make the announcement after it is accepted and on the mirrors Smile Saves you these questions Tongue

Sad

In fairness, I did state in multiple places that it would take a day or so... nobody bothered to read it.

Sorry to be a pain.

I'm using OpenElec 5.0.5 with Kodi 14.2 (beta) and as far as I can read in the forums, the skin is available on the repository.

I haven't had any luck with trying to get the skin installed - I've attempted to download the zip files from Git and the mirrors but no luck.

Any ideas?

You can't download the zip file? What happens when you try and download this: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/helix/ski....50.03.zip

Couldn't find it again this morning. Ended up doing multiple "Force Refresh" and finally appeared. Sorry and thanks Smile
