This is a request for an option for the pvr. You have the option for live tv to reacquire the last tv channel used when exiting and then restarting kodi. Do you have an option that reacquires the last channel used when you leave the live tv mode use some other mode of kodi (view videos for example) and then reenter the live tv mode? My reason for this would be if I use the advanced launcher to look at somethin in Firefox and then return to watching tv.
