Android black screen after splashscreen
#1
Compiled version of Kodi Helix to arm 7 vfpv3d16 (NON NEON ) , install the stb with android 4.0.3 , opened and after the splashscreen is a black screen and nothing happens.
To compile used the ubuntu 14.04 with ndk 10d and updated sdk
Can anyone help me ?

If you are smart enough to have compiled Kodi in non-neon, you must be smart enough to realize you don't provide enough information to be able help.
At least a log?

I created the advancedsettings.xml file as http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced#...ttings.xml , but the log is not generated.
I'm thinking of putting messages in Splash.java.in , since I had to change so that the verification process NEON not happen.

A logcat, then, if Kodi itself is not started.

Thanks, this works great on my Acer Iconia A500 (Tegra 2 device)!

Now that 15.0 is out, any pointers/breadcrumbs on how you pulled this off?

I'm glad to have worked , but I did not understand your sentence , I am Brazilian and my English is the google translator hehe.

If the compilation of Isengard , lets out a stable version that I compile one for Tegra 2 .

How is the performance of the videos in HD or Full HD , is working well ?
Hugs !

Isengard stable (15.0) was just released.

sorry for the use of slang language. I was asking if you could teach me to compile a tegra 2 version... or point me to your tegra 2 source code repository (github, etc.) where I could review your tegra 2 commtis. Then attempt to compile myself (always looking for a new opportunity to learn or expand my skill set).

But if you plan to continue to compile for the tegra 2,I am okay with just being a "big fan" of your work! Smile If you would like me to test your work on isengard, let me know.

on your 14.2
performance in HD video is okay, although my Tegra 2 device is the Acer Iconai A500 tablet with a 1,280×800 resolution. so I don't really need or use full HD.

my TV is 1080p. On the TV I stream a lot of 720 and older files in standard def over a 10/100/1000 Cat6 home network. I ripped most of my dvd collection almost 15 years ago when drive space was at a premium (and before I had a HDTV). On the TV there I have a Raspberry Pi 2 with Kodi (openELEC). The Media is hosted on a Samba/minidlna server that is made up of a USB 3.0 HDD connected to a Netgear R6300v2 running DD-WRT firmware.

Thanks for the greak work on keeping the Tegra 2 alive!

PS. I am sure that some people over a the tegraowners forum also really enjoy your work.
