When i want to watch a movie in kodi mkv file i get this green thing in the upper screen.
In other videoplayers it works fine just having it in kodi. Anyone know how to fix this?

please provide a debug log (wiki)
perhaps the mkv has some errors that other players don't show or hide.

i've seen this issues also with divx movies but who use that these days ?

could also be a setting in your kodi settings,
are you using a intel GPU ?
if so try to disable hardware acceleration.
there was also another setting for intel but i can't remember now

I tested some things without luck then i updated the graphic card drivers and the green thing was gone.
Maybe this will help others.
