It appears as though using the API to change channels on TV, the internal Kodi channel number is used instead of the channel reported by the backend or manually assigned. For example, I use Roomie Remote (www.roomieremote.com) which has Kodi support. However, selecting a channel (for example, channel 125) changes the channel to Kodi's internal channel 125 and not channel 125 on the backend or as displayed in the EPG. Using a keyboard or an IR remote to change to channel 125 works as intended. Please see my post in the PVR thread (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=219670).
Many thanks for this outstanding software. I've been using WMC for years and can't believe it took me this long to try out XBMC/Kodi.
