I have built myself a windows based HTPC with a Dual Feed Satellite card to replace my Sky TV as I was mostly just watching freeview channels anyway.
So far its perfect and now just really looking at one or two minor tweaks to make things even better, one function I haven't been able to set is the ability to use up / down on my remote when watching live tv to see whats on the other channels without actually changing the channel, so if I push up from BBC1 the box would appear on the bottom section of the tv showing me BBC2, whats on etc but wouldn't actually change to it unless I push ok.
The same with left and right, showing whats on next / previous instead of time skipping, I know I can just bring up a full EPG to do the same, but it was a nice function on the sky box so just curious if I can have Kodi do the same.
I am running MediaPortal as my backend and the Aeon Nox skin.
