Better timeout control for invalid streams
#1
Hello all,

Kodi should better handle the timeout of streams than it currently does. Sometimes an invalid stream does not load and Kodi simply becoms non-responding.

As a result the user needs to kill the whole app and restart.

this has been discussed many times - don't believe they have any interest in correcting this since the majority of streams are related to piracy sources

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Hello bry,

Too bad. In general this would make the application much snapier and closer to the real TV experience, i.e. faster zapping.
