Hi,

I'm new to the community and could do with a bit of assistance.

I've installed Kodi on a Raspberry Pi and unfortunately HDMI CEC doesn't appear to be working.

My TV detects the Raspberry Pi and there HDMI CEC options in its menu. but the options don't work when I select them.

Between my Raspberry Pi is a HDMI switch. if I remove the switch HDMI CEC works.

How can I overcome this problem so I can use HDMI CEC with my KodiPi?

Can you link to exactly what the hdmi switch is?

The obvious explanation is that it doesn't wire up the CEC pin. In that case you can't use the switch and have working CEC.

It doesn't mention CEC, although one of the review comments suggests it does.
Presumably when using the switch you need two hdmi cables. Can you confirm the second cable has working CEC (when switch is removed).
