Android XBMC/KODI remote app
#1
Hey guys,

I have been having some issues since I updated from XBMC to KODI when it comes to using the remote app on Android. Here is what I am using...

Asus Chromebox (celeron)
OpenELEC 5.0.5 (single boot) - freshly installed tonight, used to be dual boot
Nexus 9 (Android 5.0.1)
Nexus 6 (Android 5.0.1)

When I was running XBMC 4.x the wifi remote worked like a champ. Now that I am on KODI 5.x the XBMC wifi app will not detect it even though I have verified the IP address. I uninstalled it and found a remote for KODI but even when I set the correct IP it still will not connect to the media center. My wireless keyboard is working for now, but is a real hassle to use when I could just grab my phone or tablet. Any ideas? Thanks

I'd agree with that statement. Kassi is very good on Chrome too.
