Kodi crash after wake-up
#16
I can't solve it unfortunately
Probably it's pulse-eights drivers bug. Let's follow this thread as well

Pulse Eight support responded,-

If Kodi freezes, then this is a bug in Kodi's libCEC integration and not in libCEC or our hardware. Please register this bug on Kodi's bugtracker if it's not registered yet, so one of Kodi's developers can pick this up

Ticket was files months ago, but doesn't look like anyone's actually looking at it.

Actually, the same guy previously filed a ticket for Kodi 15.2 about this same issue all the way back in February; also no activity whatsoever:

http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/16552

So it looks like either this somehow doesn't affect all users, or hardly anyone is actually using these PulseEight widgets?! Kind of odd that this has apparently been broken for two major releases now and nobody seems to care...

I don't think any osx developer in our team has a cec adapter and therefore nobody cares maybe.

The problem is not related to OS X only. I have same problem on Windows 10. Really strange why nobody cares ... Sad

This is not a OSx issue, Windows 10 / Kodi 17 B5 (16 was the same), the whole system goes to sleep just fine (from log), on wake up crash immediately after CEC initialized.

Sleep:

23:41:28 T:2728 DEBUG: PERIPHERALS::CPeripheralCecAdapter::CecLogMessage - unregistering all CEC clients
23:41:28 T:2728 DEBUG: PERIPHERALS::CPeripheralCecAdapter::CecLogMessage - unregistering client: libCEC version = 3.1.0, client version = 3.0.0, firmware version = 4, firmware build date: Thu Dec 6 11:15:20 2012 +0000, logical address(es) = Recorder 1 (1) , base device: Audio (5), HDMI port number: 1, physical address: 2.1.0.0, compiled on Windows-10.0.10586, features: P8_USB, P8_detect

23:41:28 T:2728 DEBUG: PERIPHERALS::CPeripheralCecAdapter::CecLogMessage - marking Recorder 1 (1) as inactive source

23:41:28 T:2728 DEBUG: PERIPHERALS::CPeripheralCecAdapter::CecLogMessage - unregistering all CEC clients

Wake up:

23:42:08 T:2772 DEBUG: PERIPHERALS::CPeripherals::GetMappingForDevice - device (2548:1002) mapped to Pulse-Eight CEC Adapter (type = cec)

And that's the last line in the log.
