There is any tuner combination or possibility to use DVB-S2 tuner and DVB-T2 like Combo at Wetek Play!

Pretty sure that it does not support that integrated but you really have those type of question on WeTek's own forum. Don't think I ever heard about a DVB-S/T combo or hybrid tuner, as only heard of DVB-C/T combo tuners.

http://www.wetekforums.com

There would be a different if the WeTek Play hardware supported two separate tuners at the same time. Workaround could now be if they allowed used an internal DVB-S2 tuner and an external DVB-T2 USB adapter/dongle.

Latinbull,

As hedda said, you can try to ask at forum of wetek, but as already tested you can try with Sundtek TV USB DVB-C/T/T2 Tuner.

Yes it is possible using external DVB-X via USB. The tuner should be compatible with kernel used in Openelec - check it here http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/Supported_TV_Tuners

I recommend you TVHeadend as it is easier to set up via web GUI.

Not so fast there cowboy. The AMLogic Linux Kernel is quite a bit older than the RPi/imx6 versions on that list, the Play using v3.10.90
In fact that list should NOT be referenced at all for any AMLogic devices.

You would be better running any potential purchases past the WeTek guys themselves before you shoot yourself in the foot with an unsupported usb device.

If you can read this, search for DVB-S (satellite) in this list and you can see exactly what usb DVB tuners are supported on the Play:
https://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv/...x.arm.conf

Then if you crossreference that Kernel module support list with this Linux DVB-S2 list, you will find devices that should work:

Yep - wrxtasy is right.

I have at least one USB DVB-T2 tuner that has been supported in Raspberry Pi and x86 OpenElec builds for well over a year, that still doesn't have support in the OpenElec build used for AMLogic releases (at least not the unofficial ODroid C1/C1+ builds, but I think the Wetek OpenElec box is also based on the same kernel?)

There are quite a few devices newer than mine that I'd expect not to work on AMLogic OpenElec releases as a result.

Definitely a 'caveat emptor' situation with DVB devices on AMLogic-based platforms.
