Hi,

I'm using a RaspberryPi2 with OpenElec and MP Tvserver on a windows box.

I have a small issue when playing back recordings - in TS format.

This issue is not MediaPortal specific, as I had the issue with WMCServer when playing .WTV files.

The recording plays well, but for the first 2 seconds or so, the colours are all a grey mixed colour, after the two seconds it plays fine.

I guess this is a Raspberry Pi issue, I had the problem with my RPi1 and the Rpi2 has the issue.

Is this a comment problem, fixable?

Grey mixed colors typically indicate that the player is still waiting for an I-frame (full frame of video). The playback of recordings is done by XBMC/Kodi itself, so technically, this is not an PVR addon issue.

Have you tried OE 5.0.6? I believe that enables error concealment by default so you don't see the grey frames.
Ideally the recordings should start with a keyframe which would avoid this (no point recording frames that can't be played back).

Perfect - My system has already updated to 5.0.6 and the videos play fine now!
