Hello
I've been reading with interest the updates about video game emulators. I was wondering if its possible to use FTP to transfer games and emulators from an original xbox to kodi on an apple mac and play them?

Correct, since you would need to download emulators that run on OSX. When the emulator stuff gets added in the future, then Kodi would handle downloading the emulator as an add-on, but that isn't completely working yet.

So as an example. If I ftp'd Coinops 5 from xbox to mac kodi would find the fronted and boot the games from there?

Eventually, yes. However, the retroarch work for Kodi isn't done yet.

I'll just have to wait with mounting excitement then. I'm currently in the process of configuring a mac mini htpc with Ontapp tv, Sky go and other add ons. Fingers crossed the final setup will be awesome!
